Mamma Mia Skcin Charity Annual Ball 2009
In January 2009 Skcin hosted their 3rd annual fundraiser ball under the theme 'Mamma Mia'. 250 glamourous guests attended the black tie, blue carpet event enjoying a bubbling champagne reception, a spectacular five course dinner with wine and outstanding entertainment from one of the UKs finest Abba tributes, Abba Reunion. Sam and Amy from Heart 106 Breakfast supported us once more this year hosting the fabulous auction that raised a spectacular £10,000! The event was attended by Skcin's patrons ITV's Dr Chris Steele and England's most capped amateur golfer Gary Wolstenholme who both generously contributed to the auction.
The evening was a huge success and raised in total £13,500 which will assist the charity in facilitating our goals throughout the year. Skcin would like to thank all those who attended the event, donated auction items and assisted with the organisation a memorable evening was had by all.
As campaigners for regulation on sunbed use for under 18's Skcin are delighted that the bill to regulate sunbed use has passed its latest parliamentary hurdle....
